FALL DATE TBD
Thanks to everyone who participated!

Over 500 volunteers helped over 40 not-for-profit organizations in the Greater Danbury Area. From clearing trails at a local horse farm to painting stairwells, sorting through donated clothes, cleaning, pulling weeds or washing fire trucks and ambulances, there was something worthwhile to do everywhere. Generally all volunteers had fun and organizations appreciated the help.
Western Day of Service begins with check-in, continental breakfast and getting your FREE T-SHIRT. After a pep-talk by President Clark and Danbury’s Mayor Boughton, all volunteers will gather for a group photo before being bussed to the local organizations for three hours of volunteer service. Busses will return all participants to the Midtown campus by 1:30 p.m.
To sign up, complete the individual sign-up sheet below. Student organizations can also sign up using the group sign-up sheet, but every volunteer is asked to complete the individual sign-up sheet. You may either sign up online or print the form and hand it in. Please note that if you are under the age of 18 we would need permission from your parent to participate. Your parent could send a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org just stating your name, their relationship to you and that they give permission for you to participate in Western Day of Service.
Students, faculty, and staff will come together for our 4th annual Western Day of Service. Sign up now to volunteer with one of the many non-profit organizations in our community.*
You could sign up to do a variety of different things such as raking, trimming, and/or weeding trails, sanding and/or painting, serving food, parking cars, registering dancers, cleaning offices, washing fire trucks, moving boxes, tagging books, working with animals or picking up trash along the streets of Danbury.
