“We wanted to give our students, faculty and staff a mobile app that pulls together everything they need in one place via their mobile device, which is especially important to our students” said Jeff Shpunt, Manager of Digital Strategy & Communications, who played a critical role in getting the app implemented here at WCSU.
Julianne Johnson, Manager of Information Systems also played a key role working closely with Ellucian, the software developer of our student information system (Banner) to get the necessary integrations in place. “There were a lot of technical discussions and a good deal of planning to ensure we had everything working as designed”.
“myWCSU is one of several major improvements delivered recently via the Banner Modernization and Standardization project. We owe a huge thank you to Brenda Whalen, Chief Enterprise Project Manager and Joe Tolisano, System Office CIO from the Board of Regents for their vision, management and support these past two years.” said John DeRosa, Interim CIO – Information Systems, Infrastructure and IT.
