Meet the Team






Writing Consultants


Zach is a senior from Patterson, NY double-majoring in political science and history. After graduation, he aspires to work in politics, law, or national security. His current interests encompass a wide variety of areas, including American, European, and Ancient History (he is currently writing his senior thesis on the fall of the Roman Republic), politics, economics, physics, space exploration, and sports (especially the Red Sox and Patriots).

Kendyl is a senior at WCSU, majoring in History and minoring in Philosophy; this is her second year as a tutor here in the Writing Center. Though tutoring is one of her favorite things to do, Kendyl also enjoys hiking, fishing, hunting, spending time with her family, and working at a bar up the street from WCSU. Her future goals include pursuing post-graduate degrees and keep finding joy in little things.

Gina is concentrating on public relations, journalistic, and political writing as part of her Masters of Fine Arts degree. She enjoys watching the news, skydiving, traveling, hiking and learning Spanish. Her professional writing goals include working for a political campaign, PR firm, news organization, radio company or nonprofit organization.

Anna is in her senior year as a Professional Writing major. Her current interests include binge watching Sci-Fi shows, learning and talking about holistic health, and reading books from a wide range of genres from mystery to YA.  When it comes to writing, Anna enjoys the revision process and collaborating with other writers to develop their ideas further.

Jimmy is a senior English major at WCSU. After graduating, he plans on getting a master’s degree in teaching, in order to become a high school English teacher. Jimmy is interested in various athletic activities, such as running, hiking, biking, backpacking, going to the gym, etc. He most frequently reads the Bible, classics of literature and works of philosophy. He enjoys editing papers and finding creative ways to improve them.

Bill is a senior with a double major in Psychology and Interdisciplinary/Diversity Studies and a minor in Creative Writing. When he’s not working on research or writing Sci-Fi/Fantasy fiction, he is reading a new novel or working on his latest JRPG obsession. His future goals are to be a novelist and social psychologist.

  Charlie is a professional writing major with a concentration in creative writing. She loves to write and read anything that interests her, but she has a weakness for poetry and short stories. Her favorite author is John Steinbeck and she loves anything to do with the beat generation. She thinks Oxford commas are the superior commas.

Diana is a senior English major at WCSU, with a minor in Spanish. She speaks Spanish and English, and loves learning about different cultures. Her interests include reading books (from poetry to sci-fi), writing questionable fiction (free verse and short stories), and listening to music (from rock to kpop). After graduation Diana plans to pursue publishing  to eventually become a book editor.

When it comes to writing, Diana most commonly uses MLA 8 and enjoys working with others to further develop their work.

Joseph is a senior Communication Studies major with a minor in Journalism. His interests include the study of mass media, local and national politics, and folk music. He is a staff writer for the WCSU news site, The Echo.

Molly is a graduate student in the MFA in writing program. She loves all things reading and writing especially fiction, poetry, and journalism. She’s particularly interested in food and travel writing and its related adventures. When she’s not tutoring or in search of the perfect pizza to write about, she enjoys crafting, camping, beaching, and hanging out with her feline buddy, Finley.
